Mireya grew up in Panama City, Panama where she received her early dance training at Panama's Escuela Nacional de Danzas. After moving to Mexico, she continued her training and graduated from the Royal Academy of Dance. She joined Ballet de Monterrey in 2004 where she had the privilege of performing in works under the direction of former American Ballet Theater principal dancer, Robert Hill. Mireya has performed professionally with B & J Movement, Inception Dance Theater and 127th St. Dance Company in the Pacific North West. She currently dances with Ballet Bellevue where she has performed in its last eight productions and where she is a faculty staff and Ballet Mistress of the School.
